The Chesapeake light crafts, which have inspired generations of craftspeople from around the world, will be on display at the Chesham Bay Festival, which opens on Saturday, June 25.
The Chesham Light Craft Festival will feature over 30 craftspeakers, including a family-friendly and family-led display featuring live music, live art and hands-on crafts.
These artists are the first generation of Chesham light craftsmen to have their craft celebrated in the national spotlight.
The event will also feature a free food truck and live music by local and international musicians.
The Chesham Festival will showcase local, regional and national talent, including artist-artists from Baltimore, Baltimore’s Inner Harbor, and the Washington, D.C. area.
There will also be a variety of exhibits from local, national and international artists.
In addition to the craft exhibits, attendees can participate in activities including live music and a costume contest.

The Arts Council of Maryland also released a list of the top 10 craft shows in the country.
Baltimore’s arts community and community groups have been honored with an array of award-winning local, state and national award-winners.
